Fans of ZipTie Clothing… We are back!

2010 has been a challenging but rewarding year. After a brief hiatus` we return to you with a new work space, new ideas and new design concepts.

To kick it off we give you (in a limited run of only 25 shirts) the LS1.

Based on the legendary power plant which has powered GM to victory on the street and at the track countless times (the 90* 350 v8) the LS1 has become a legend of it’s own over the last decade. Sporting many advancements in design and engineering, the LS1 powerplant is found in ever increasing numbers in the automotive world, even outside of it’s native chassis Corvette/Camaro.

Found these days in custom street rods, boats, Prototype 24 hour LM cars and yes, even in Nissans, the hammerfist of GM continues to prove it’s self as a contender in the ring of super engines. It’s relatively light weight coupled with massive power figures and durability make it a prime candidate for virtually any race, street (or fashion) application.

This is just tip of the iceberg in a new series of designs by ZipTie. Note the red metallic stripes across the midsection, known well and worn with pride in the LS1 community, on the drivers fender. It’s just a small touch to bring the design home to those who appreciate it. The attention to detail is key for us and for those who enjoy what we build. We use only the best materials, and never go to print till every angle is perfected.

More pieces are coming and we are stoking the fires of rumor in the office on a new line of shirts, all together.

Stay tuned for some beta pics of our new designs, new work space and a few glimpses into the life of ZipTie and our musings in the car world.

We are happy to be rolling again.
